Exercise & fitness is not just for the young. There are many levels of exercise to maintain your fitness levels at any age. When you are fit and active, it lowers your risk of disease in your body. Movement plays a huge role in your cardiovascular system as well as keeping your joints moving as you get older.

If exercise conjures up the idea of going to the gym and the idea of a gym scares you, instead, find an exercise that you love. When you find something that makes you feel good, you are more likely to make this a part of your daily life. When you have a stronger lower body, it helps to stabilise your body better.
