Holistic Solutions for Stress

Stress is primarily a physical response. When stressed, the body thinks it is under attack and switches to ‘fight or flight’ mode, releasing a complex mix of hormones and chemicals to prepare the body for physical action. This causes a number of physiological reactions. The ‘fight or flight’ response can help us, but in the long term, chronic stress can have damaging effects on our body. Learn more about holistic ways of dealing with stress in our Healing Portal.
