Meet Krissi Williford – Krissi is a corrective exercise expert and neuromuscular specialist. She has worked in the health and fitness industry for over a decade. She and her facility, Xcite Fitness, focuses on helping men and women eliminate their pain, tone their body, and get stronger so they can love the way they look and feel. 

We spoke about how trauma from your past can affect your nervous system and how this plays a role in anxiety.

We learned about the correlation between how the body works and how if affects your anxiety.

Krissi talks about the different exercises you can do to calm down your nervous system.

She mentions that we need to take it one step at a time, rather than expecting we can change everything in a few days.

More is not always better. You need to tune into your body and listen to the message it is telling you. Sometimes that message is telling you to slow down.
